It’s an exciting time here At IFELTTHAT!

After a wonderful month long show at our local art gallery we took some time off to enjoy the summer and spend time with family. Now fall is on it’s way and we are gearing up for fall classes and Christmas shows. One of the most exciting developments is the shift toward hand dyeing our own fibres. Up until now we have worked with a wonderful artist from Scotland to produce the beautiful custom colors on the fibres we us in our art. Now we are doing our own and having so much fun! Below you will find a few examples of the work we are producing in small batches. Soon these will be made available for purchase in the form of supply packs for use in your own projects.

About Cindy

I have been an artist as long as I can remember. Starting with needle arts at a very early age, then moving on to garment construction as a young adult. While raising a family of boys I worked from home making interior decor items and gradually became involved in decorative arts. I worked for many years painting murals and decorative elements in residential and commercial spaces. I also spent a number of years working as a visual merchandiser for a small group of stores. Now I have come back to my first love and have taken up the needle again. This time in a whole new way. I am able to use the skills I have accumulated through out the years in an area of creative endeavour that is new to me and extremely fulfilling. I hope you will enjoy taking this journey with me as I tame the fluff into stuff to create one of a kind sculptures, home decor and wearables.
